Job Overview

The Junior Vector Illustrator will serve as a foundational member of our dynamic Creative Content Team. In this entry-level remote illustrator job, you will work closely with our Senior Art Directors and Lead Illustrators to produce high-quality, on-trend vector graphics that will be utilized by millions of Vecteezy users worldwide.

This role is explicitly designed as a learning opportunity. You will not be expected to lead massive campaigns on day one. Instead, you will be guided through the professional illustration pipeline, learning how to conceptualize, draft, refine, and properly format vector files for a commercial marketplace. Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Vector Illustrator, your daily tasks will revolve around creative exploration, asset production, and supporting the broader illustration team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Asset Creation: Designing and executing simple to moderately complex vector illustrations, icons, and graphic elements based on creative briefs provided by Senior Art Directors.
• Trend Research: Assisting the team in researching current design, color, and illustration trends across various digital platforms and social media channels.
• File Formatting: Preparing, organizing, and exporting final vector files (EPS, AI, SVG) according to strict company quality standards and technical guidelines.
• Asset Tagging & Metadata: Adding accurate and highly searchable keywords, titles, and descriptions to newly created illustrations to maximize user discoverability on the Vecteezy platform.
• Team Collaboration: Participating in weekly virtual brainstorming sessions, design critiques, and one-on-one mentorship meetings via Zoom or Slack.
• Revisions & Refinement: Applying constructive feedback from senior designers to adjust colors, compositions, and typography in existing illustrations.
• Template Support: Helping to design user-friendly vector templates (such as flyers, social media posts, and presentation slides) using pre-existing brand assets.

Required Qualifications
